Richard moved into the role of General Manager Systems and Supply Chain from his previous position as Sealord\u2019s Sales and Operations (S&OP) Planning Manager.<\/p>
The Supply Chain function involves overseeing the distribution and storage of products, procurement, customer service and demand\/supply planning to ensure maximum returns from Sealord\u2019s catch (S&OP). The IT function at Sealord also reports to Richard.<\/p>
Prior to Sealord, Richard\u2019s experiences include 15 years with Fonterra across a broad range of functions but more recently as Manager for Supply Chain Excellence, and before that leading management roles at Esselte and the New Zealand Dairy Board.<\/p>
Having started out his career with a Bachelor of Management Studies, his strengths include enabling cross-functional relationships, an ability to implement change, and structured approaches to planning and strategy development.<\/p>
Being on the Senior Executive Team is a great opportunity to broaden the exposure and influence of Supply Chain across the business.<\/p>
